I am a mother of two, separated but not yet divorced. I am passionate about my family, what I do, and my community. I enjoy music (from classical to classic rock), reading, quiet nights in and fun weekends away, but I also have a spirit for adventure. I have a quick (and sometime snarky) sense of humor and always try to see the light side of even dark situations. I take what I do very seriously but not myself. I am honest, loyal, and given to taking people at their word until they prove otherwise; once my trust is broken, second chances are hard to come by. I prefer movies that are either thought provoking, full of smart humor, or a witty Pixar (with or without the kids, Pixar can't be beat for keeping the adults rolling in the aisles, too!). I can read Stephen King, but I can't watch it. I love plays but not the opera; I love reading books but not poetry. I am affectionate and kind but I'm straight forward and I don't tend to beat around the bush. I am funny and fun to be with.
